Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This website presents work made to be stood in front of. We would like as many people as possible to be able to approach it here as well, and we treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining the site rather than as something added at the end.

The standard we work to

The site is adapted towards Israeli Standard SI 5568, Part 1, at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. SI 5568 is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 with Israeli national adjustments.

What has been done

  • Pages are built with headings and landmarks, and a “Skip to content” link lets keyboard users go straight to the main content.
  • Menus, buttons, links and form fields can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone.
  • Every image on the site carries a text alternative describing what is shown, including each artwork and its material.
  • Every form field has a label, and the consent box on each form is never ticked in advance.
  • Layouts reflow for small screens and remain usable when text is enlarged in the browser.
  • The cookie notice can be operated with a keyboard, and its buttons are large enough to tap easily.
  • An accessibility toolbar (UserWay) is available on every page through the button at the bottom left. It lets you enlarge text, increase contrast, highlight links, pause animation and more. It is an extra aid and does not replace the adaptations built into the site itself.

How the site was checked

The site was tested on 13 October 2026 in desktop and mobile browsers, using automated checks against the requirements of SI 5568 together with review of keyboard navigation and layout.

Where the site still falls short

We would rather name the gaps than claim there are none:

  • On some artwork pages, gold headings on a light background do not yet reach the required colour contrast. A correction is being prepared.
  • Some small links and controls on mobile are smaller than recommended for touch.
  • The home page does not yet have a single main heading for screen reader users.
  • Videos are delivered by external services (Vimeo and YouTube) whose players we do not control, and their controls may not meet the standard in full.
  • Pages are reviewed as they are published; anything added recently may not yet have been tested.

These are being worked through, and this statement will be updated as they are resolved.

If something is not accessible to you

If you meet a barrier anywhere on this site, or need information from it in another format, please tell us. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using; that is usually enough for us to reproduce the problem.

Email: [email protected]

We aim to acknowledge accessibility enquiries within a few working days and to correct what we can as quickly as possible. If a fix will take time, we will tell you what we are doing and provide the information you were after in another way in the meantime.
